By accessing and using TaxCalc (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
TaxCalc is a free tax estimation calculator designed to help users understand their approximate federal tax liability for 2026. The Service performs calculations based on information you provide, including filing status, W-2 income, self-employment income, capital gains, number of dependents, and tax withholding.
TaxCalc is provided "AS IS" for educational and estimation purposes only. The results generated by our calculator are approximations and should NOT be relied upon as professional tax advice. We are not licensed tax advisors, accountants, or lawyers.
You should consult with a qualified tax professional, CPA, or tax attorney before making any tax-related decisions or filing your tax return. Tax situations are complex and individual, and only a qualified professional can provide advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
While we strive to maintain accurate 2026 tax brackets and rates, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of calculations. Tax calculations may be affected by special circumstances, state and local taxes, Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), and other complex situations not captured by our calculator.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAXCALC AND TYLERROSSUSA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR DATA.
IN NO EVENT SHALL TAXCALC'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED $100.
